# Tariff Code Compliance Explorer with MCP: Prompts

Tariff Code Compliance Explorer publishes three reusable prompts. Retrieving a prompt is read-only: it does not classify a product, call a tool, or create a record.

## `classify_product`

Creates a product-classification request. Optional `product` and `destination` arguments fill the two starting facts; omitted values remain as placeholders so the client can ask for them.

The complete reusable workflow is also available as the public [Classify Product skill](/.well-known/agent-skills/classify-product/SKILL.md).

## `review_existing_classification`

Creates a read-only review request for a tariff code the user already has. Optional arguments are `system_or_destination`, `code`, `relevant_date`, and `product_facts`.

The workflow returns one of four outcomes: supported, a better alternative needs review, the supplied code is absent or superseded, or more facts are required. See the public [Review Existing Classification skill](/.well-known/agent-skills/review-existing-classification/SKILL.md).

## `calculate_duty`

Creates a version-scoped duty-estimate request for a tariff system and ordinary tariff code supplied by the user. Optional arguments are `system`, `code`, and `shipment_facts`. It keeps base, preferential, alternative, conditional, and supplemental treatment paths separate.

See the public [Calculate Duty skill](/.well-known/agent-skills/calculate-duty/SKILL.md).
